McPherson

What to bring?
Bring anything you need to work your K9, any
equipment (a crate is a MUST, especially if you will be
staying at the hotel) and bring clothing for any type of
weather, because Indiana weather can change pretty
quickly!

This seminar is a trailing seminar only, we will focus on
many things, including things you may encounter in real
life situations. Examples are, gathering proper scent
articles, doing real life scenarios, scent detection, night
time trails, tactical training, urban (city) work, and rural
work. We also will be working aged trails, some several
days old, and some may or may not have a runner at the
end. The weather has been HOT here in Indiana so far
this summer, and if it is still quite warm, no worries! We
will utilize our time, so don't be surprised if we work
night trails until 3AM! We may begin working K9's
extremely early, break for class time during daytime
hours, then work at night. We had considered having this
seminar during a less "severe weather" time of year, but
then we thought, how does this prepare the handler for a
REAL search? We get called out in all kinds of
conditions/times of day/night, so that is why this
seminar will be when it is planned.

Our team decided to do this seminar because we miss
the good old days of when handlers went to seminars,
met up with friends, exchanged ideas, talked, worked
HARD, came home TIRED, DIRTY, and maybe with
some bumps and bruises! THIS is what a good old
fashioned seminar is all about, and we hope that we will
be able to provide this for you! We have tried to make
this seminar as affordable as possible, because we all
understand that money is tight in this economy, and
hopefully you will feel as if we have accomplished this.

Saturday night, if you would like to bring an auction item,
we will be doing one then, and also will be giving
certificates to everyone that evening. If you would like to
contribute in any way with the cook out, just let one of us
